Research & Evaluation
The team at ThreeSixtyInsights uses a breadth of traditional and creative methodologies to conduct research for our clients. Our research is often focused on capturing and amplifying stakeholder voices and narratives. We also undertake research to quantify and contextualize practices and interventions, and to position these in relation to national and international comparators.
ThreeSixtyInsights undertakes systematic reviews and programme evaluations for our clients. We analyse theories of change with a focus on processes, outcomes and/or impacts as appropriate to the project parameters. Within this work we engage with clients to develop context-specific indicators, differentiate outputs from outcomes, consider medium and long-term impacts arising from interventions and set out findings in evidence-based publication standard reports to inform future planning and resource allocation.

Client: Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)
ThreeSixtyInsights was recently commissioned by QQI to develop guidelines that will apply to all tertiary education providers delivering programmes that entail the assessment of learning outcomes achieved (in part) through planned WIL experience. The project involves consultation with a breadth of stakeholders and the development of a typology of WIL profiling current practice in Irish tertiary education and training.

Client: Adult Literacy for Life (ALL) Office, SOLAS
ThreeSixtyInsights was recently commissioned by the ALL Office in SOLAS to undertake research mapping existing professional learning and development options for adult literacy practitioners in Ireland, reviewing national and international frameworks and setting out recommendations for the development of a PLD framework. The project included setting out a proposed plan and governance structure to oversee framework development.

Client: Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)
A focused evaluation of the usefulness of QQI’s Annual Quality Reporting (AQR) model for Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) was carried out. The evaluation report set out findings and analysis considering the diverse perspectives of institutional stakeholders in the context of the dynamic nature of the regulatory environment in which they were operating.
Institutional Reviews & Capacity Development
ThreeSixtyInsights works with providers of education and training to develop staff capacity in areas including quality assurance, teaching and learning and learner support. This includes preparation for institutional reviews and other QQI processes.
Our services include membership of external independent expert review panels and the provision of high standard, sector-informed reporting. We work directly with QQI as well as providers, depending on the process.

Curriculum & Portfolio Development
The team at ThreeSixtyInsights hold significant expertise in learning design, curriculum development, teaching and learning enhancement and programme portfolio design. We work with providers of education and training to develop new accredited and unaccredited training programmes, ranging from micro-credentials to major awards. We also work with providers on periodic review processes, innovations in delivery and the enhancement of existing programmes. Our team members have undertaken academic development work, facilitated workshops and delivered teacher education programmes in locations including Ireland, the UK, Australia, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, South Korea and the UAE.

Client: Nottingham University Business School (NUBS)
ThreeSixtyInsights was recently commissioned by NUBS to develop, pilot and facilitate a periodic review process across a portfolio of 17 MSc programmes. The periodic review facilitates integration of cross-cutting themes within the QAA subject benchmark statements, including EDI, ESD and EED to the documented curriculum.

Client: Digital Manufacturing Ireland
ThreeSixtyInsights was invited to conduct training for subject matter experts at Digital Manufacturing Ireland working with industry on upskilling initiatives. Sessions focused on the development of training plans, inclusive of setting learning objectives and mapping the learner journey. Strategies for creating a comfortable learning environment were also focal. Training was facilitated on-site by Nico Lorenzutti using Lego Serious Play, with follow up workshops conducted by Dr Cathy Peck online.

ThreeSixtyInsights was recently commissioned to undertake this piece of work. Terms of reference for the project included gathering and evaluating relevant data and stakeholder perspectives on opportunities to increase participation in the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef Culinary Apprenticeships.
